Last week I took a trip to East London and tried out Oslo, a restaurant, venue, club and cocktail bar. This gem is situated next door to Hackney Central Station and boasts a nordic aesthetic in a redeveloped railway station.
They have recently launched a brand new cocktail menu, perfect for the winter season which I had to sample. Full of classic christmas flavours and smells, as well as classic cocktails, they totally mastered a divine new range and here is a peak at what you can try:…
Arctic Martini – Reyka Vodka, Akvavit, Earl Grey Bergamot Syrup, Lime Juice, Lingonberry Powder, garnished with sugar, lingonberry powder & served in a coupette.
Winter Spritz – Tanqueray Gin, Italicus, Grapefruit Cordial, Gingerbread Syrup, Prosecco, dehydrated grapefruit.
Alejandro – Ocho Tequila Reposado, Creme de Cacao, Double Cream & Nutmeg, garnished with grated nutmeg.
Elixir – Tanqueray Gin, Fernet Branca, Blackberry Syrup, Fresh Lemon Juice, Soda Top.
Traveller’s Tale – Picon, Port Churchill, Akashi, Tai Plum Sake & Ginger Ale, garnished with dehydrated orange.
Whatever cocktails flavours you like, there will be one to suit your palette. As well as all the new cocktails they also offer traditional cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, Mai Tai and Mojitos.
Cocktails are £8.50, which is an average price for London and the flavours in these are definitely unique to Oslo. Take a look at the cocktail menu here
