Brunch at Greenwood London

So Emily and I came to the conclusion, that if you were to brunch every day for a year in London – you still wouldn’t run out of choice and still find new places to try! Absolutely bloody fabulous!

So, anyway we stumbled across Greenwood, a relaxed victorian style pub opposite Victoria tube station and what a wonderful delight it turned out to be. This restaurant and sports bar is spread over two floors, and features the coolest decor including old school board games, taxidermy, the most stunning bar and a Blink Brow bar and barber shop.

I just loved the colour of the chairs, the mix match of furniture is something that really appeals to me and always makes a restaurant look so much more appealing.

It’s not a real barbers, but it definitely looks convincing!

Onto the food. Little did we know that some restaurants especially in central London stop serving brunch after 12! What a nightmare – but luckily for us Greenwood do brunch until 4pm – winning. The brunch menu includes all the classics, as well as pizzas and burgers, but we needed our weekend fix of eggs.

I had to go with my number one bae – Eggs Royale. Those poached eggs were cooked to perfection and the portion of smoked salmon was very generous. I always have the hollandaise on the side so that I doesn’t over power the dish (I have had some bad experiences). This little number was £9.50 and worth every penny.

Emilie ordered Eggs Benedict, which came with the crispest bacon ever! I don’t eat meat, but it did look good. I really must stress how AMAZING the eggs were, god I love eggs. This meal also came to £9.50.

The staff were super lovely and attentive, making sure we were ok but just leaving us to chat and enjoy the food. Whilst we were there, there was loads of people doing the bottomless brunch. The menu looked incredible, so I definitely want to go back for that.

Greenwood is open 7 days a week:

Monday to Friday: 8am – midnight
Saturday: 9am – midnight
Sunday: 9am – 11pm

Take a look at the brunch menu here. I definitely recommend this place for brunch, but also for any meal. Greenwood offer a delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu, as well as sport games – so there is something for everyone.

Fancy going? Let me know, and if you go let me know what you thought <3

Love, A x
