Being the super savvy brunch finder that I am, means that I am always on the hunt for the next new place for a bottomless Saturday afternoon! Bon Vivant immediately drawed me in with their sexy website and when I turned up with the girls it did not disappoint. Bon Vivant is your next brunch spot.
Located roughly an 8 minute walk from London Kings Cross station, this cute little restaurant harbours the most beautiful interior including some velvet seating and wall art.
The brunch includes all the classic favourites, (including my Eggs Royale) with a reasonable price tag. This bottomless two hour brunch included either unlimited prosecco, mimosas, Bellini and Bloody Mary with a cost of £18.
I dined here with 5 other friends and we were sat in one of the velvet seats, tucked out of sight. This was brilliant as we could consume lots of prosecco and giggle away! The settings would be really nice for date or evening meal, as well as hanging with friends for a brunch.
So onto the food… here is my Eggs Royale. Yummmm. What I loved was the hidden layer of spinach under the salmon, it really added to the dish. It did also come with hollandaise but I get this on the side. The price of this was £7.
All the girls went with a full VB breakfast. This included eggs, beans, sausages, bacon, hashbrows, tomatoes and toast for £9 – my god it looked good! Just look how perfect the fried egg was!
The two hours was up before we knew it and our lovely waiter bought over some vodka shots (I think)…
Overall Bon Vivant was exactly what we needed, somewhere relaxed and chique to hang out with good prosecco and music. The service was constant throughout, only once we had an empty glass but it was not a bad thing – we need a few minutes break!
Take a look this place for yourself here.
Let me know if you have been here or have any recommendations for me to try out next…
