If you are looking for some inspiration for a night/weekend away to a Spa around London, then I definitely recommend having a look at The Hilton in Syon Lane. This wonderful hotel is 30 minutes out from Richmond and is set in the idyllic surroundings of Syon Park. This secluded retreat is off the main road, and once you are in the grounds it feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of London.
Walking into reception, I was welcomed by the wonderful concierge as well as taking in all the luxury decor. The furnishings were simplistic and modern, with soft soothing music playing in the background. From the moment I stepped in the hotel, I felt relaxed and immediately at ease.
How cool are these chairs?
The wonderful decor flows throughout. My bedroom was stunning, these photographs really do not do it justice. The bed was huge – I star fished and still had space! The wonderful wardrobes were big and tucked inside was a fridge and safe. This room had all the requirements from an ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, TV, and toiletries.
This bathroom I feature heavily on my Vlog because the shower was awesome – and there was a TV in it! It’s also lovely to have all the cute toiletries, these included shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and a shower cap.
So, onto the Spa. This Hilton hotel included a huge Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. I had access to this from the moment I checked in until I checked out, and the pool was open until 10pm. As part of the package, I had a 25 minute treatment included. This included facials to massages, so I went with a back and shoulder massage. I managed to have a massage in the same room as my partner which was also a lovely added bonus.
The main restaurant was a Marco Pierre White, which was divine. The food is expensive, but well worth it.
The restaurant menu included a range of steaks, but there was also fish and vegetarian options so I was ok. Below is Ribeye Steak and Salmon Steak. Both came with fries and a house salad. (I love it when restaurants display chips in little saucepans, it always makes them look so appealing)!
Breakfast was a buffet style and included everything from cereals, to a fry up, fresh juices and salads. I think I had the equivalent of 4 breakfasts but I felt I just had to indulge! There was too much choice, so I couldn’t not…
This wonderful weekend break was from Spa Finder (I am not being paid to say this) and included a nights stay, spa access and food for £99 per person. This Hilton often features on there so it’s good to know you can get packages for this kind of thing. Nethertheless, this hotel was wonderful and the perfect place to go to just relax and take your mind off a hectic lifestyle.
Take a look at the Hilton here.
